The book “Třebel 1647. A Battlefield of the Thirty Years’ War from the Perspective of History, Archeology, Art-history, Geoinformatics, and Ethnology” deals with a military clash between the Swedish and Habsburg Armies that took place under Třebel Castle in Western Bohemia from August 18th to September 5th, 1647. Since the 17th century, the landscape of the battlefield has remained almost completely unchanged. Seven remnants of field fortifications remain intact on the former battlefield. Field research of this battlefield took place, with several breaks, from 1988 to 2017.
