It calls for the return to the basic ethical and philosophical values. It is an suppliance: Libera nos, Domine. In this respect the meaning of the entire project is universal and timeless. For many years I have been appreciating the outstanding vocal expression of a Czech jazz singer Jana Koubková. Her abilities to improvise have inspired me for writing a composition in which this kind of vocal improvisation could come into its own. The Appel of Concience consists of four compositions: 1.Everyone has his turn… (15:21), Money or Life ( 16:58), The Appeal ! ( 9:59), The Age of Aquarius ( 30:32).
