Sons of Kemet jsou britská jazzová skupina založená v roce 2011, kterou tvoří Shabaka Hutchings, Tom Skinner, Theon Cross a Eddie Hick. Seb Rochford opustil Sons of Kemet na konci roku 2016. Skupina používá k tvorbě hudby saxofon a klarinet (Hutchings), tubu (Cross) a dva bubeníky (Skinner, Hick) a hraje směs jazzu, rocku, karibského folku a Africká hudba. Cross nahradil Orena Marshalla na tubě. Sons of Kemet vyhrál cenu Best Jazz Act na MOBO Awards 2013. Toto album obsahuje významné britské zpěváky a silný důraz na svěží skladby a aranžmá.
